I have been working with Kim Hodgkin, Delta Security. Retirement
ID Badges are now available for ALL retirees.
* All retirees, pre-merger NWA, pre-merger DL, and post-merger, are eligible for
Delta retiree ID card.
* If a photo is NOT on file (pre-merger NWA photos on file only date back to
2005), each retiree will be required to contact and schedule a time with either
the Atlanta or Minneapolis ID Office for an in-person visit to have a photo
taken and badge issued.
* There is no charge for this original badge. However there is a replacement
fee for lost or stolen retiree badges.

* Minneapolis ID

{I am working with Kim to see if we can accommodate photos in another manner for
those not transiting MSP or ATL}

TravelNet experiencing technical issues
April 30, 2010
Delta’s TravelNet employee travel tool is experiencing technical problems that
are slowing response times or preventing the system from responding altogether.
Information Technology engineers are aware of the problem and working to repair
it as soon as possible.
Users will be advised via NewsLine as soon as the system is operational again.

Pass Travel tools get a facelift;
retiree
eligibility for Fly Confirmed for Even Less under review
|
|
| An
updated PassRider guide and TravelNet tutorial are available on the Pass
Travel site on Employee Connection.
The guide provides general employee
pass travel information in an easy-to-read format. The tutorial leads
retirees through the online TravelNet tool, Delta’s primary self-service
application. Retirees who may not be familiar with Delta pass travel
privileges will find the PassRider guide and TravelNet tutorial
especially helpful.
Delta has also re-launched the Fly
Confirmed for Even Less program. Eligibility for the Even Less program,
which is similar to the standard Fly Confirmed for Less program, but
with a greater discount and additional restrictions, follows the same
guidelines as the pre-merger Northwest program. At this time retirees
are not eligible for the Even Less program; however, based on retiree
feedback, Delta is reviewing the possibility of adding retirees in the
future. Retirees are eligible for the standard Fly Confirmed for Less
program.
Employees and retirees can review the
Pass Travel site on Employee Connection for answers to their pass travel
policy questions. (SIGN INTO DLNet)

Subject: RE: My Last Day
Dino, the way Delta currently does its pensions is through its
Employee
Service
Center. Pilots just retiring get their
paperwork set up through the ESC, and existing retirees contact the ESC
when there is a change in their payment choices (e.g. address changes, a
new direct deposit organization or a change in their withholding
elections). The ESC also handles the physical checks and prepares the
checks and the ACH transactions. The NWA retirees are moving to the
same platform as all Delta employees use for the cost savings. They are
only writing the checks and/or initiating the ACH transactions … the
money will remain in the pension trust at
State Street and will still be invested
amongst a variety of investment managers.
