Members of RNPA:

 

As the Holiday Season approaches Barbara and I hope that each of you have a joyous time with friends and family.

 

THANKS to all those that attended the Rapid City Reunion and the Teddy Bears they brought. We had a total of 518 bears the Rapid City Fire Department was glad to accept.  These will be shared by surrounding towns and the various EMT's in the area.  We also lucked out and had a great newspaper article and TV coverage commending our efforts.

 

SO, we are planning to do the same for Omaha.  Look throughout the year for Bears and other stuffed animals.  Bring them to Omaha and use them for entry to the Banquet.  Coordination is already taking place with the Fire Department.

 

Speaking of Omaha, it is not to early to make your hotel and RNPA reservations.  Also if you are interested in attending the RIVERSIDE ROUNDUP and RODEO just before the Reunion I suggest you go on line and secure tickets.

 

ALSO for Omaha we will have a SILENT AUCTION.  The money gathered will go to the Paul Soderlind Scholarship Fund.  We had no article for Rapid City until the last few days.  It takes more time to coordinate, SO if you have article please let me know by AUGUST 1.

 

Please pass this to those who might not have the internet, encourage them to attend the various functions of RNPA.  Sign up early for the Reunion.
